About Us

mist-air has state of the art fabrication machinery , including CNC laser cutting, press brake, bending, rolling and welding facilities for working in both mild and stainless steel, and  design, build and assemble all their own products in-house.

mist-air was started in 1975 by Mike and Christine Carter, designing and manufacturing Mistral Power Washers from a small, rented farm building in Wales.

It was incorporated in 1978 and eventually moved to a full manufacturing facility that it owns today on the Welsh Border.

In 1980 they also started manufacturing and installing mist-air Dust Suppression Systems

Mike and Christine’s son Andrew joined the company in 2001 as an installation engineer, and having worked with the system from the ground up, moved to sales, and today is the Managing Director.
