Mist-Air is used by quarries and aggregate handling sites around the world. This advanced dry fog system is designed to suppress airborne dust efficiently, ensuring a cleaner and safer working environment. Unlike traditional dust control methods, Mist-Air targets dust particles at their source, preventing them from becoming airborne rather than trying to suppress them after they have formed.

This dry fog is used during primary and secondary crushing, at every conveyor transfer point, and in screen houses. By utilizing ultra-fine water droplets, it captures dust particles in the air without adding excessive moisture to the material. This ensures operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact.

Mist-Air requires very little power or water, making it a highly energy-efficient and cost-effective solution for dust control. Its ability to maintain a dry environment while effectively eliminating dust makes it ideal for industries where excess moisture can lead to material handling issues. Unlike water jet sprays, which often prove ineffective for fine dust, Mist-Air does not bind screens or soak conveyor belts, preventing operational disruptions.

Primary crushers are a perfect example of how effective Mist-Air is. Normally water is sprayed onto the rock as it is tipped into the crusher, and as the rock shatters, new dust is formed, and the larger spray droplets become less effective. However the Mist-Air fog instantly suppresses the finest dust as it forms preventing a dust cloud and using a very small amount of water compared to spray systems.
