The Mist-air Solution:
In 2014 mist-air installed a dust suppression system at their Knottingley site, this involved targeting all three phases of production of the material, cullet stores conveying, screen and sorting the glass. Many of these areas’ dust generation points were suppressed with misting manifold to give localised suppression at dust forming area. mist-air installed fan assisted manifolds to control airborne dust and silica though out the process. mist-air dust absorber is inserted to the fog via a dosing pump to increase absorbency of the mist and increase its effectiveness against hydrophobic dust particles.
