Staubkontrolle bei der Herstellung von Streckglas - Produktionsstätte Dennert Poraver Postbauer-Heng
Dual-Phase Dust Control System Transforms Safety at World's Largest Expanded Glass Manufacturing Facility
Herausforderung:
Dennert Poraver’s main production facility, manufacturing 60,000 metric tons annually of recycled glass aggregate, faced critical dust control issues in two key areas. Micro-fine dust was escaping from sealed conveyors and processing equipment in the production building, creating a toxic environment for operatives and dangerous respirable dust exposure. Additionally, the outdoor lorry loading area generated fugitive dust emissions causing both housekeeping difficulties and environmental compliance concerns.

Die Nebel-Luft-Lösung:
Mist-air installed a comprehensive two-phase dust suppression system in 2010. For the production building, a targeted mist system combined with mist-air dust absorber technology effectively removes respirable dust from the atmosphere at escape points from sealed conveyors and processing plant. At the outdoor loading area, a fine fog barrier system traps fugitive dust at the generation point before loading operations, preventing environmental dispersion.
