A Case Study In Glass Recycling
Challenge:
Ing Environmental are a large UK recycler of waste glass. mist-air installed a dust suppression system in 2017 at their Refining & Storage facility outside of Scunthorpe.
The mist-air system targeted dust generated from their two processing lines, from hopper loading right the way though to controlling dust and silica from loading the finished product into bulker lorries.

The Mist-air Solution:
mist-air fan assisted manifolds are located in the roof space to give coverage over a larger area whilst localised misting manifold suppress dust at dust generation points such as screens, vibrating tables, conveyer transfer points and fines bays.
mist-air dust absorber is added to the fog via a dosing pump to increase absorbency of the mist and increase its effectiveness against hydrophobic dust particles.
